Adhyaya 88 — The Manifestation of the Matrikas and the Slaying of Raktabija
मुखे समुद्गता येऽस्य रक्तपातान्महासुराः ।
तांश्चखादाथ चामुण्डा पपौ तस्य च शोणितम् ॥
mukhe samudgatā ye 'sya raktapātān mahāsurāḥ | tāṃś cakhādātha cāmuṇḍā papau tasya ca śoṇitam ||
उसके गिरते रक्त से जो महान असुर उत्पन्न हुए, उन्हें चामुण्डा ने भक्षण कर लिया; और उसने उसका रक्त भी पी लिया।
