Adhyaya 88 — The Manifestation of the Matrikas and the Slaying of Raktabija
भक्षयन्ती चर रणॆ तदुत्पन्नान् महासुरान् ।
एवमेष क्षयं दैत्यः क्षीणरक्तो गमिष्यति ।
भक्ष्यमाणास्त्वया चोग्रा न चोत्पत्स्यन्ति चापरे ॥
bhakṣayantī cara raṇe tadutpannān mahāsurān | evameṣa kṣayaṃ daityaḥ kṣīṇarakto gamiṣyati | bhakṣyamāṇās tvayā cogrā na cotpatsyanti cāpare ||
रणभूमि में विचरो और वहाँ से उत्पन्न होने वाले उन महान असुरों को भक्षण करो। इस प्रकार यह दैत्य रक्त-क्षय से विनाश को प्राप्त होगा। और जब वे उग्र जन तुम्हारे द्वारा खाए जा रहे होंगे, तब अन्य कोई उत्पन्न न होगा।
