Adhyaya 82 — The Rise of Mahishasura and the Manifestation of the Goddess from the Gods’ Tejas
यथावृत्तं तयोस्तद्वन्महिषासुरचेष्टितम् ।
त्रिदशाः कथयामासुर्देवाभिभवविस्तरम् ॥
yathāvṛttaṃ tayos tadvan mahiṣāsuraceṣṭitam | tridaśāḥ kathayāmāsur devābhibhavavistaram ||
उन त्रिंशत् देवताओं ने उन दोनों (शिव और विष्णु) से यथावत् सब वृत्तांत कहा—महिषासुर ने जैसा आचरण किया था, और देवताओं के पराभव व अधीनता का विस्तार से वर्णन किया।
