Adhyaya 82 — The Rise of Mahishasura and the Manifestation of the Goddess from the Gods’ Tejas
यदभूच्छाम्भवं तेजस्तेनाजाय तन्मुखम् । याम्येन चाभवन् केशा बहवो विष्णुतेजसा ॥
yad abhūc chāmbhavaṃ tejas tenājāyata tan-mukham / yāmyena cābhavan keśā bahavo viṣṇutejasā
शाम्भव (शिव) का तेज उसका मुख बन गया। यम के तेज से उसके अनेक केशपाश उत्पन्न हुए; और विष्णु के तेज से भी वे समन्वित/संवर्धित हुए।
