साम्प्रतं वर्तते योऽयं नाम्ना वैवस्वतो मनुः ।
सप्तमीयेऽन्तरे तस्य देवाद्यास्तान् शृणुष्व मे ॥
sāmprataṃ vartate yo 'yaṃ nāmnā vaivasvato manuḥ / saptamīye 'ntare tasya devādyās tān śṛṇuṣva me
अब जो वर्तमान मनु हैं, उनका नाम वैवस्वत है। उनके सातवें मन्वन्तर में देवगण और अन्य जो-जो तत्त्व हैं, उन्हें मुझसे सुनो।
