समः समासनो भूत्वा संहृत्य चरणावुभौ । संवृतास्यस्तथैवोरू सम्यग्विष्टभ्य चाग्रतः ॥
samaḥ samāsano bhūtvā saṃhṛtya caraṇāv ubhau | saṃvṛtāsyaḥ tathaivorū samyag viṣṭabhya cāgrataḥ ||
आसन में सम और स्थिर होकर दोनों पाँव भीतर खींचे; मुख बंद रखे, जाँघों को ठीक प्रकार से व्यवस्थित करे, सहारा लेकर उन्हें सामने उचित क्रम में स्थापित करे।
