Adhyaya 37 — Alarka’s Crisis and the Teaching on Non-Attachment (Madālasa’s Instruction Recalled)
तं बुबोधयिषुः सोऽथ चिरं ध्यात्वा महीपतिः ।
तद्वैरिसंश्रयं तस्य श्रेयोऽमन्यत भूपतेः ॥
taṃ bubodhayīṣuḥ so 'tha ciraṃ dhyātvā mahīpatiḥ |
tad-vairi-saṃśrayaṃ tasya śreyo 'manyata bhūpateḥ ||
उसे जगाने की इच्छा से उसने बहुत देर तक विचार किया और यह उचित समझा कि उस राजा को शत्रु के आश्रय में जाने के लिए विवश किया जाए, ताकि वह विरोधी दबाव का सामना करे।
