Adhyaya 34 — Madālāsā’s Instruction on Sadācāra (Householder Conduct, Purity, and Daily Rites)
नाचक्षीत धयन्तीं गां जलं नाञ्जलिना पिबेत् ।
शौचकालेषु सर्वेषु गुरुṣ्वल्पेषु वा पुनः ॥
nācakṣīta dhayantīṃ gāṃ jalaṃ nāñjalinā pibet / śaucakāleṣu sarveṣu guruṣvalpeṣu vā punaḥ
गाय को दूध पिलाते समय नहीं देखना चाहिए; और अंजलि में लिया हुआ जल नहीं पीना चाहिए। सभी शौच-कालों में, तथा वृद्धों/गुरुओं के सन्निकट—चाहे वे आयु में छोटे ही क्यों न हों—ऐसा संयम रखना चाहिए।
