अप्राप्तौ तद्दिने चापि वर्ज्या योषित्प्रसङ्गिनः ।
भिक्षार्थमागतान् वापि काले संयमिनो यतीन् ॥
aprāptau taddine cāpi varjyā yoṣitprasaṅginaḥ | bhikṣārthamāgatān vāpi kāle saṃyamino yatīn ||
यदि निमन्त्रित अतिथि न आएँ, तो उसी दिन स्त्री-संग में आसक्त जनों का त्याग करना चाहिए। परन्तु जो आत्मसंयमी संन्यासी समय पर भिक्षा के लिए आएँ, उनका यथोचित सत्कार किया जा सकता है।
