Adhyaya 24 — Kuvalayashva’s Refusal of Gifts and the Vision of Madalasa’s Maya
जड उवाच प्रणिपत्य भुजङ्गेशं पुत्रः शत्रुजितस्ततः ।
प्रत्युवाच महात्मानं प्रेमलज्जासमन्वितः ॥
jaḍa uvāca praṇipatya bhujaṅgeśaṃ putraḥ śatrujitastataḥ / pratyuvāca mahātmānaṃ premalajjāsamanvitaḥ
जड़ ने कहा—तब शत्रुजित का पुत्र नागों के स्वामी को प्रणाम करके, स्नेह और विनयजनित लज्जा से भरकर उस महात्मा को उत्तर देने लगा।
