तस्य लाडूलनिनदं पर्वत: सुगुहामुखै: । उद्गारमिव गॉर्नर्दन्नुत्ससर्ज समन््ततः,वह पर्वत उनकी पूँछकी फटकारके उस महान् शब्दको सुन्दर कन्दरारूपी मुखोंद्वारा सब ओर प्रतिध्वनिके रूपमें दुहराता था, मानो कोई साँड़ जोर-जोरसे गर्जना कर रहा हो
tasya lāḍūla-ninadaṃ parvataḥ su-guhā-mukhaiḥ | udgāram iva go-nardan-n utsasarja samantataḥ ||
वैशम्पायन बोले—उसकी पूँछ की फटकार से उठे उस गम्भीर निनाद को पर्वत ने अपनी सुन्दर कन्दरारूपी अनेक मुखों से सब ओर प्रतिध्वनित कर दिया—मानो कोई बलवान् साँड़ गर्जना कर रहा हो।
