Chapter 125
अक्षेषु मृगयायां च पूर्वसृष्टं पुनः पुन: । तदा मद विनिक्षिप्य शक्रं संतर्प्प चेन्दुना
akṣeṣu mṛgayāyāṃ ca pūrvasṛṣṭaṃ punaḥ punaḥ | tadā madaṃ vinikṣipya śakraṃ saṃtarpya cendunā ||
लोमश ने कहा—जो ‘मद’ पहले उत्पन्न हुआ था, उसे बार-बार जूए और मृगया (शिकार) में भी स्थापित किया गया। तब उस मद को अलग रखकर महर्षि ने सोमरस (चन्द्र-तुल्य अमृत) से शक्र (इन्द्र) को तृप्त किया और उसे संकट से उबार दिया।
