मुचुकुन्दस्य राजर्षेरददात् पृथिवीमिमाम् | पुरा वैश्रवण: प्रीतो न चासौ तां गृहीतवान्
mucukundasya rājarṣer adadāt pṛthivīm imām | purā vaiśravaṇaḥ prīto na cāsau tāṁ gṛhītavān |
पूर्वकाल में धनाध्यक्ष वैश्रवण (कुबेर) राजर्षि मुचुकुन्द पर प्रसन्न होकर उन्हें यह सारी पृथ्वी देने लगे; पर मुचुकुन्द ने उसे ग्रहण नहीं किया।
