अत्र धर्मश्न सत्यं च कर्म चात्र निगद्यते | गतिरेषा द्विजश्रेष्ठ कर्मणामवसायिनाम्
atra dharmaś ca satyaṃ ca karma cātra nigadyate | gatir eṣā dvijaśreṣṭha karmaṇām avasāyinām ||
हे द्विजश्रेष्ठ! यहाँ धर्म, सत्य और कर्म—इन सबका लेखा कहा और बताया जाता है। कर्मों के अवसान पर देहधारियों की यही नियत गति है; मृत प्राणी और उनके कर्म इसी दिशा का आश्रय लेकर धर्मराज के निकट निवेदित होते हैं।
