Rules for Dharmic Victory in Kṣatriya Engagement
इषुर्लिप्तो न कर्णी स्यादसतामेतदायुधम् । यथार्थमेव योद्धव्यं न क्रुद्धयेत जिघांसत:
iṣur lipto na karṇī syād asatām etad āyudham | yathārtham eva yoddhavyaṃ na kruddhyet jighāṃsataḥ ||
युद्ध में विष-लिप्त और कर्णी बाण का प्रयोग नहीं करना चाहिए; ये असत् पुरुषों के आयुध हैं। यथार्थ रीति से ही युद्ध करना चाहिए। और जो युद्ध में वध करना चाहता हो, उसके प्रति क्रोध में न बहकर, यथायोग्य प्रतिकार करे—धर्म की मर्यादा में रहकर।
