एतत्‌ फलमसूयाया अभिमानस्य वा विभो | तस्माद्‌ बुध्यस्व मान्धातर्मा त्वां जह्यात्‌ प्रतापिनी

Transliteration

etat phalam asūyāyā abhimānasya vā vibho | tasmād budhyasva māndhātar mā tvāṃ jahyāt pratāpinī ||

Translation

हे विभो! यह असूया और अभिमान का ही फल है। इसलिए, हे मान्धाता, बुद्धि से जागो—कहीं शत्रुओं को दग्ध करने वाली प्रतापिनी लक्ष्मी तुम्हें भी छोड़ न दे।
