अदित्या: सप्तधा त्वं तु पुराणो गर्भतां गत: । पृश्चिगर्भस्त्वमेवैकस्त्रियुगं त्वां वदन्त्यपि
adityāḥ saptadhā tvaṃ tu purāṇo garbhatāṃ gataḥ | pṛścigarbhas tvam evaikas triyugaṃ tvāṃ vadanty api ||
हे पुराणपुरुष! आपने अदिति के गर्भ में सात प्रकार से अवतार लिया; आप ही एकमात्र ‘पृश्चिगर्भ’ के नाम से प्रसिद्ध हैं; और तीनों युगों में प्रकट होने के कारण विद्वान आपको ‘त्रियुग’ भी कहते हैं।
