प्रशंसावचनैस्तासां मिथ:शब्दैश्व॒ भारत । प्रीतिजैश्न तदा शब्दै: पुरमासीत्‌ समाकुलम्‌

Transliteration

praśaṃsāvacanais tāsāṃ mithaḥśabdaiś ca bhārata | prītijair na tadā śabdaiḥ puram āsīt samākulam ||

Translation

वैशम्पायन बोले—भारत! उस समय स्त्रियाँ परस्पर प्रेम से उत्पन्न प्रशंसा-वचन कहती हुईं, और उन्हीं मधुर शब्दों से सारा नगर हर्ष-कोलाहल से भर उठा; मानो उनके आनंदित स्वरों से पूरी पुरी व्याप्त हो गई।
