ते वयं जातसंदेहा: पर्यपृच्छामहे रविम् | क एष दिवमाक्रम्य गत: सूर्य इवापर:,ऐसी शंका होनेपर हमने सूर्यदेवसे पूछा--“भगवन्! ये जो दूसरे सूर्यके समान आकाशको लाँघकर यहाँतक आये थे, कौन थे?”
te vayaṁ jāta-saṁdehāḥ paryapṛcchāmahe ravim | ka eṣa divam ākrāmya gataḥ sūrya ivāparaḥ ||
फिर संदेहग्रस्त होकर हम लोगों ने रवि से पूछा—“भगवन्! जो दूसरे सूर्य के समान आकाश को लाँघकर यहाँ तक आए हैं, वे कौन हैं?”
