ततो भिन्त्वैव गगन प्रविष्टो रश्मिमण्डलम् । एकीभूतं च तत् तेज: क्षणेनादित्यतां गतम्
tato bhittvaiva gaganaṁ praviṣṭo raśmimaṇḍalam | ekībhūtaṁ ca tat tejaḥ kṣaṇenādityatāṁ gatam ||
तत्पश्चात् वह मानो आकाश को भेदकर सूर्य की रश्मि-मण्डली में प्रविष्ट हो गया। उसी क्षण वह तेज एकाकार हो गया और सूर्यत्व को प्राप्त हुआ।
