यत्र देवो महाबाहु: शाश्वतः पुरुषोत्तम: । अनादिनिधनो विप्र किमाश्नर्यमत: परम्
yatra devo mahābāhuḥ śāśvataḥ puruṣottamaḥ | anādinidhano vipra kim āścaryam ataḥ param ||
नाग ने कहा— हे ब्राह्मण! इससे बढ़कर और क्या आश्चर्य हो सकता है कि सूर्य के अद्भुत तेज में महाबाहु, शाश्वत, अनादि-अनन्त पुरुषोत्तम स्वयं निवास करते हैं? उन्हीं से नाना प्रकार के बीज उत्पन्न होते हैं और उन्हीं के सहारे यह समस्त पृथ्वी, चराचर सहित, धारण की हुई है। जब सूर्य-मण्डल में स्वयं नारायण विराजमान हैं, तो उससे बढ़कर आश्चर्य क्या होगा?
