एवमेष महान् धर्म: स ते पूर्व नृपोत्तम । कथितो हरिगीतासु समासविधिकल्पित:,नृपश्रेष्ठट इस प्रकार यह महान धर्म मैंने तुम्हें पहले हरिगीतामें संक्षेपसे बताया है
evaṁ eṣa mahān dharmaḥ sa te pūrva nṛpottama | kathito harigītāsu samāsavidhikalpitaḥ ||
वैशम्पायन बोले—हे नृपोत्तम, इस प्रकार यह महान धर्म मैंने तुम्हें पहले ‘हरिगीता’ में विधिपूर्वक संक्षेप-रूप से बताया है।
