Divine names are not arbitrary: they are grounded in Vedic revelation and the disciplined inquiry of learned tradition. The epithet “Adhokṣaja” is presented as established through Vedic praise and interpretive reflection on sacred language.
A speaker explains the basis for the divine title “Adhokṣaja,” stating that Vedic experts who analyze word-meaning chant this name in the sacrificial hall’s prāgvaṃśa section; this customary Vedic usage is cited as the reason the name is recognized.
