Atithi-satkāra and the Consolation of Wise Counsel (अतिथिसत्कारः प्रज्ञानवचनस्य च पराश्वासनम्)
को जय प्राप्तवांस्तत्र शंसैतन्मे जनार्दन । अर्जुनने पूछा--वृष्णिनन्दन! त्रिलोकीका संहार करनेवाले उस युद्धके उपस्थित होनेपर वहाँ रुद्र और नारायणमेंसे किसको विजय प्राप्त हुई? जनार्दन! आप यह बात मुझे बताइये
ko jaya-prāptavāṁs tatra śaṁsaitad me janārdana |
अर्जुन ने पूछा—हे वृष्णिनन्दन! जब त्रिलोकी का संहार करने वाला वह युद्ध उपस्थित हुआ, तब वहाँ रुद्र और नारायण में से किसको विजय मिली? हे जनार्दन! यह बात मुझे बताइये।
