Haṃsa–Sādhya Saṃvāda: Satya, Dama, Kṣamā and the Discipline of Speech
सम्भाव्य पुत्रान् कालेन यौवनस्थान् निवेश्य च | समर्थान् जीवने ज्ञात्वा मुक्तश्वर यथासुखम्
Sambhāvya putrān kālena yauvanasthān niveśya ca | Samarthān jīvane jñātvā mukta-snehaḥ yathāsukham ||
भीष्म बोले—समय आने पर पुत्र उत्पन्न करो; जब वे युवावस्था को प्राप्त हों, तब उनका गृहस्थ-जीवन स्थापित करो (विवाह करा दो)। और जब जान लो कि वे बिना किसी पर आश्रित हुए अपना निर्वाह कर सकते हैं, तब स्नेह-बन्धन से मुक्त होकर इच्छानुसार सुखपूर्वक विचरो।
