युधिछिर उवाच वृत्रेण परमार्थज्ञ दृष्टा मन्ये55त्मनो गति: । शुभा तस्मात् स सुखितो न शोचति पितामह
Yudhiṣṭhira uvāca: Vṛtreṇa paramārthajña dṛṣṭā manye ’tmano gatiḥ | śubhā tasmāt sa sukhito na śocati pitāmaha ||
युधिष्ठिर ने कहा—परमार्थ-तत्त्व के ज्ञाता पितामह! मैं मानता हूँ कि वृत्रासुर ने आत्मा की शुभ और यथार्थ गति का साक्षात्कार कर लिया था; इसलिए वह सुखी था और शोक नहीं करता था।
