श्रेयो-धर्मकर्मविचारः
Inquiry into Śreyas, Dharma, and Karma
ये तु च्युता: सिद्धलोकात् क्रमेण तेषां गति यान्ति तथा<<नुपूर्व्या जीवा: परे तद्धलतुल्यरूपा: स्वं स्वं विधि यान्ति विपर्ययेण
ye tu cyutāḥ siddhalokāt krameṇa teṣāṃ gatiṃ yānti tathānupūrvyāḥ | jīvāḥ pare taddhalatulyarūpāḥ svaṃ svaṃ vidhiṃ yānti viparyayeṇa ||
भीष्म ने कहा— जो सिद्धलोक से च्युत होकर क्रमशः नीचे उतरते हैं, उनके समान साधनबल वाले अन्य जीव भी लोक-लोक में क्रम से चलते हुए ऊपर उठते हैं और अंततः उन्हीं सिद्धों की गति को प्राप्त करते हैं। पर जो वैसे नहीं हैं, वे विपरीत प्रवृत्ति के कारण अपनी-अपनी भिन्न गति को प्राप्त होते हैं।
