Transliteration

bhīṣma uvāca |

atrāpy udāharantīmam itihāsaṃ purātanam |

tulādhārasya vākyāni dharme jājalinā saha ||

Translation

भीष्म ने कहा—राजन्! यहाँ भी मैं एक प्राचीन इतिहास का उदाहरण देता हूँ। वह जाजलि के साथ धर्म-विषय में तुलाधार वैश्य के वचनों का प्रसंग है।
