Tulādhāra’s Instruction to Jājali on Ahiṃsā and Abhaya-dāna
दीप्तानलनिभ: प्राह भगवान् धूमवर्चसे । ततो5हमपि वक्ष्यामि भूय: पुत्र निदर्शनम्
dīptānalanibhaḥ prāha bhagavān dhūmavarcasaḥ | tato 'ham api vakṣyāmi bhūyaḥ putra nidarśanam, vatsa |
भीष्म बोले—प्रज्वलित अग्नि के समान तेजस्वी, पर धूमवर्ण आभा वाले भगवान् (व्यास) ने शुकदेव से ऐसा कहा था। अतः हे पुत्र! वही दृष्टान्त और उसका तात्पर्य मैं भी फिर से तुम्हें बताऊँगा; इस सुनिश्चित विवेक-शास्त्र को ध्यान से सुनो।
