Jājali’s Austerities and the Summons to Tulādhāra (जाजलि–तुलाधार-इतिहासः)
संरोहत्यकृतप्रज्ञ: सदा येन हि पादपम् | स तमेव ततो हन्ति विषग्रन्थिरिवातुरम्
saṁrohati akṛtaprajñaḥ sadā yena hi pādapam | sa tam eva tato hanti viṣagranthir ivāturam ||
व्यास ने कहा—अपरिपक्व बुद्धि वाला मनुष्य जिस वृक्ष से सदा बढ़ता-बढ़ता जीता और फलता-फूलता है, बाद में उसी को मारने लगता है; जैसे शरीर में उत्पन्न विषैली गाँठ उसी शरीर का नाश कर देती है।
