Yoga-kṛtya (योककृत्य) — Vyāsa on Sense-Restraint, Obstacles, and Brahman-Realization
sargakālakriyā vedāḥ kartā kārya kriyāphalam | prokta te putra sarva vai yan māṁ tvaṁ paripṛcchasi ||
The verse summarizes a complete doctrinal instruction: understanding creation, time, action, scriptural authority, agency, duty, and the fruits of action—key categories for ethical living and karmic accountability.
Vyāsa concludes a response to his son/disciple’s inquiry, stating that he has already explained all the requested topics, indicating the close of a didactic section in the Śānti Parva.
