Householder Primacy and the Royal Duty of Punishment
अनिसृष्टानि गुरुणा फलानि मनुजर्षभ । भक्षितानि महाराज तत्र मां शाधि मा चिरम्,“नरश्रेष्ठ! मैंने बड़े भाईके दिये बिना ही उनके बगीचेसे फल लेकर खा लिये हैं; महाराज! इसके लिये मुझे शीघ्र दण्ड दीजिये”
anissṛṣṭāni guruṇā phalāni manujarṣabha | bhakṣitāni mahārāja tatra māṃ śādhi mā ciram ||
व्यास ने कहा—नरश्रेष्ठ! महाराज! बड़े भाई की अनुमति के बिना ही मैंने उनके उपवन के वे फल खा लिये जो मुझे दिये नहीं गये थे। इस अपराध के लिये मुझे शीघ्र दण्ड दीजिये, विलम्ब न कीजिये।
