आहु: सर्वमिदं चिन्त्यं जना: केचिन्मनीषया । अस्या: पज्चैव चिन्ताया: पर्येष्यामि च पञजचधा

Transliteration

āhuḥ sarvam idaṃ cintyaṃ janāḥ kecin manīṣayā | asyāḥ pañcaiva cintāyāḥ paryeṣyāmi ca pañcadhā ||

Translation

शक्र ने कहा—कुछ मनीषी जन बुद्धि-बल से कहते हैं कि यह सब ‘काल’ नामक ब्रह्म है और उसी रूप में इसका चिन्तन करना चाहिए। इस चिन्तन के पाँच प्रधान विषय हैं; मैं इस पाँच प्रकार के चिन्तन का यथावत् विवेचन करूँगा।
