निश्चय: स्वार्थशास्त्रेषु विश्वासश्वासुखोदय: । उशना चैव गाथे डे प्रह्लादायाब्रवीत् पुरा
brahmadatta uvāca | niścayaḥ svārthaśāstreṣu viśvāsaś ca asukhodayaḥ | uśanā caiva gāthe dve prahlādāyābravīt purā |
नीतिशास्त्रों में यह निश्चय किया गया है कि विश्वास दुःख का उदय कराता है। प्राचीन काल में उशना (शुक्राचार्य) ने भी प्रह्लाद से इसी विषय में दो गाथाएँ कही थीं।
