अस्मिन्नर्थ च गाथे द्वे निबोधोशनसा कृते । शत्रुसाधारणे कृत्ये कृत्वा संधि बलीयसा
asminn arthe ca gāthe dve nibodha uśanasā kṛte | śatrusādhāraṇe kṛtye kṛtvā sandhi balīyasā
“इसी विषय में उशनस द्वारा रचित दो गाथाएँ सुनो— जब कार्य किसी सामान्य शत्रु के विरुद्ध हो, तब पहले बलवान पक्ष से संधि करनी चाहिये।”
