पूजितोऊहं त्वया पूर्व पश्चाच्चैव विमानितः । परेषामास्पदं नीतो वस्तुं नाहम्यहं त्वयि
pūjito’haṃ tvayā pūrvaṃ paścāccaiva vimānitaḥ | pareṣām āspadaṃ nīto vastuṃ nāham ahaṃ tvayi ||
भीष्म ने कहा—“महाराज! पहले आपने मेरा सम्मान किया, फिर अपमानित करके मुझे शत्रुओं के योग्य दशा में पहुँचा दिया; इसलिए अब मैं आपके पास रहने योग्य नहीं हूँ।”
