अनीकं ये विभिन्‍न्दन्ति भिन्न संस्थापयन्ति च । समानाशनपानास्ते कार्या: द्विगुणवेतना:

Transliteration

anīkaṃ ye vibhinndanti bhinnaṃ saṃsthāpayanti ca | samānāśanapānās te kāryā dvi-guṇa-vetanāḥ ||

Translation

भीष्म ने कहा—जो शत्रु की व्यूह-रचना को भेद डालें और अपनी बिखरी हुई सेना को फिर से संगठित कर दृढ़ता से स्थापित कर दें, ऐसे पुरुषों को राजा अपने समान भोजन-पान की सुविधा देकर सम्मानित करे और उन्हें दुगुना वेतन दे।
