पराजयमशोचन्त: कृतचित्ताश्न विक्रमे | सर्वे सुनिश्चिता योद्धुमुदग्रमनसो5भवन्‌,सबने अपनी पराजयका शोक छोड़कर मन-ही-मन पराक्रम करनेका निश्चय किया। युद्ध करनेके विषयमें सबका पक्‍का विचार हो गया और सबके हृदयमें उत्साह भर गया

Transliteration

parājayam aśocantaḥ kṛtacittāś ca vikrame | sarve suniścitā yoddhum udagramanasaḥ abhavan ||

Translation

संजय बोले—पराजय का शोक त्यागकर सबने मन में पराक्रम का निश्चय किया; युद्ध करने के लिए वे सब दृढ़ संकल्प हो गए और उनके हृदय उत्साह से भर उठे।
