Bhīṣma–Śiśupāla-saṃvādaḥ
Bhishma and Shishupala’s exchange in the assembly
भुक्तमेतेन बद्धन्नं क्रीडता नगमूर्थनि । इति ते भीष्म शृण्वाना: परे विस्मयमागता:
bhuktam etena baddhānnaṁ krīḍatā nagamūrdhani | iti te bhīṣma śṛṇvānāḥ pare vismayam āgatāḥ ||
भीष्म! यह कि पर्वत-शिखर पर खेलते हुए इसने अकेले ही बहुत-सा पका हुआ अन्न खा लिया—तुम्हारे मुख से यह सुनकर दूसरे लोग ही विस्मित हुए होंगे; मैं नहीं।
