निधन समनुप्राप्तं समासाद्येतरेतरम्‌ । अपने बाहुबलसे शोभा पानेवाले पाँच लाख वीर आपसमें ही लड़-भिड़कर मर मिटे

nidhanaṃ samanupprāptaṃ samāsādya itaretaram | apane bāhubalena śobhā pānevāle pāñca-lakṣa vīrāḥ āpasameṃ hī laḍ-bhiḍkar mara miṭe ||

अर्जुन ने कहा—वे अपने निश्चित निधन को प्राप्त होकर परस्पर भिड़ गए। अपने बाहुबल की शोभा से प्रसिद्ध पाँच लाख वीर आपस में लड़कर अंततः सब के सब मारे गए।
