कर्णेन युधिष्ठिरानीकविदारणम् / Karṇa’s Breach of Yudhiṣṭhira’s Battle-Line
देवा ऊचु अस्मत्तेजोबलं यावत् तावदद्विगुणमाहवे । तेषामिति हि मन्यामो दृष्टतेजोबला हि ते
devā ūcuḥ asmat-tejo-balaṁ yāvat tāvad adviguṇam āhave | teṣām iti hi manyāmo dṛṣṭa-tejo-balā hi te ||
देवताओं ने कहा—प्रभो! युद्ध में हमारे जितने भी तेज और बल हैं, दैत्यों के उससे दूने हैं—ऐसा हम मानते हैं; क्योंकि हमने उनके तेज और बल को प्रत्यक्ष देखा है।
