कर्णेन युधिष्ठिरानीकविदारणम् / Karṇa’s Breach of Yudhiṣṭhira’s Battle-Line
ततः स भगवान् देवो लोकस्त्रष्टा पितामह:,(एवमुक्त्वा जटाभारं संयम्य प्रपितामह: । परिधायाजिन गाढं संन्यस्य च कमण्डलुम् ।।
tataḥ sa bhagavān devo lokasraṣṭā pitāmahaḥ | (evam uktvā jaṭābhāraṃ saṃyamya prapitāmahaḥ | paridhāyājinaṃ gāḍhaṃ saṃnyasya ca kamaṇḍalum || pratodapāṇir bhagavān āruroha rathaṃ tadā |)
तत्पश्चात् लोकस्रष्टा भगवान् पितामह—जगत् के प्रपितामह—यह कहकर अपनी जटाओं के भारी भार को बाँधकर, मृगचर्म का वस्त्र कसकर धारण कर, कमण्डलु को अलग रख, हाथ में चाबुक लिए तत्काल उस रथ पर आरूढ़ हो गए।
