तेषां पितामह: प्रीतो वरद: प्रददौ बरम्
teṣāṃ pitāmahaḥ prīto varadaḥ pradadau varam | nibodha manasā cātra na te kāryā vicāraṇā ||
दुर्योधन बोला—उनका पितामह (ब्रह्मा) प्रसन्न हुआ और वर देने वाला होकर उन्हें वर प्रदान कर बैठा। स्थिर मन से इसे सुनिए; इसमें संदेह या द्वितीय अनुमान न कीजिए।
