द्रोणानीक-व्यतिक्रमः — Kṛṣṇa–Arjuna Break Through Droṇa’s Array
धनुष्यस्त्रे च वीर्ये च प्राणे चैव तथौरसे,'पार्थ! ये पूर्व निश्चित छः महारथी धनुष, बाण, पराक्रम, प्राणशक्ति तथा मनोबलमें अत्यन्त असहा माने गये हैं। इन छः महारथियोंको जीते बिना जयद्रथको प्राप्त करना असम्भव है
dhanuṣy-astre ca vīrye ca prāṇe caiva tathaurase, pārtha! ye pūrva-niścitāḥ ṣaḍ mahārathī dhanuḥ-bāṇa-parākrama-prāṇaśakti-tathā manobalena atyantam asahā manyante. etān ṣaḍ mahārathīn ajitvā jayadrathaṁ prāptum aśakyam iti.
संजय ने कहा— हे पार्थ! जो छः महारथी पहले से निश्चित किए गए हैं, वे धनुष-शस्त्र, पराक्रम, प्राणबल तथा उरःस्थ धैर्य-बल में अत्यन्त अजेय माने गए हैं। उन छः को जीते बिना जयद्रथ तक पहुँचना असम्भव है।
