शकट: पद्मकश्चार्धो व्यूहो द्रोणेन निर्मित: । पद्मकर्णिकमध्यस्थ: सूचीपाश्चे जयद्रथ:

Transliteration

śakaṭaḥ padmakaś cārdho vyūho droṇena nirmitaḥ | padmakarṇikāmadhyasthaḥ sūcīpāś ca jayadrathaḥ ||

Translation

संजय ने कहा— द्रोणाचार्य ने शकट और पद्मक नामक व्यूहों के साथ एक अर्ध-व्यूह भी रचा। उस पद्म की कर्णिका के मध्य में जयद्रथ को खड़ा किया गया और उसके पीछे सूचि-तुल्य भेदक दलों को नियोजित किया गया।
