एतस्मिन्नेव काले तु त्वरमाणं महारथा: । विव्यधु: सायकैर्गाढं कृतवर्माणमाहवे,इसी समय पाण्डव महारथियोंने युद्धमें जल्दी-जल्दी हाथ चलानेवाले कृतवर्माको अपने बाणोंद्वारा भारी चोट पहुँचायी
etasminn eva kāle tu tvaramāṇaṁ mahārathāḥ | vivyadhuḥ sāyakair gāḍhaṁ kṛtavarmāṇam āhave ||
उसी समय युद्ध में वेग से बढ़ते कृतवर्मा को पाण्डवों के महारथियों ने बाणों की वर्षा से बुरी तरह घायल कर दिया।
