Dhṛtarāṣṭra’s appraisal of Vāsudeva’s deeds
रोषानिलसमुद्धूतो मनोभिप्रायशीघ्रग: । मर्मातिगो बाणधरस्तुमुल: शोणितोदकै:
roṣānilasamuddhūto manobhiprāyaśīghragaḥ | marmātigo bāṇadharas tumulaḥ śoṇitodakaḥ ||
क्रोधरूपी वायु से उन्मत्त होकर, मन के संकल्प-सा शीघ्रगामी, बाण धारण किये वह मर्मस्थलों को भेदता हुआ आगे बढ़ा—तुमुल, और रक्तरूपी जल की धारा छोड़ता हुआ।
