सम्बन्ध-- ऐसे नास्तिक सिद्धान्तके माननेवालोंके स्वभाव और आचरण कैसे होते हैं? इस जिज्ञासापर अब भगवान् अगले चार श्लोकोंमें उनके लक्षणोंका वर्णन करते हैं-- एतां दृष्टिमवष्ट भ्य नष्टात्मानो5ल्पबुद्धय: । प्रभवन्त्युग्रकर्माण: क्षयाय जगतो5हिता:
etāṁ dṛṣṭim avaṣṭabhya naṣṭātmāno 'lpabuddhayaḥ | prabhavanty ugra-karmāṇaḥ kṣayāya jagato 'hitāḥ ||
इस मिथ्या दृष्टि का आश्रय लेकर—जिनका अन्तःस्वभाव नष्ट हो गया है और जिनकी बुद्धि अल्प है—वे उग्र और क्रूर कर्मों में प्रवृत्त होते हैं। सबके हित के विरोधी होकर वे जगत् के विनाश की ओर ही ले जाते हैं।
