Nirmaryāda-saṃgrāma-varṇana — The Unbounded Clash and Bhīṣma’s Rallying Presence
काममाश्रित्य दुष्पूरं दम्भभानमदान्विता: । मोहाद गृहीत्वासदग्राहान् प्रवर्तन्तेडशुचिव्रता:
kāmam āśritya duṣpūraṁ dambha-māna-madānvitāḥ | mohād gṛhītvā sad-agrāhān pravartante 'śuci-vratāḥ ||
दम्भ, मान और मद से युक्त वे लोग कभी न तृप्त होने वाली कामनाओं का आश्रय लेते हैं। मोहवश मिथ्या सिद्धान्तों को पकड़कर, अशुद्ध और भ्रष्ट व्रत-आचरण धारण करके, वे संसार में वैसे ही विचरते हैं।
