Adhyāya 90: Babhruvāhana’s Reception and the Commencement of Yudhiṣṭhira’s Aśvamedha
यदा दानरुचि: स्याद् वै तदा धर्मो न सीदति । अनवेक्ष्य सुतस्नेहं कलत्रस्नेहमेव च
yadā dānaruciḥ syād vai tadā dharmo na sīdati | anavekṣya sutasnehaṃ kalatrasnehameva ca ||
जब दान की रुचि जागती है, तब धर्म का पतन नहीं होता। पुत्र-स्नेह और पत्नी-स्नेह को भी देखे बिना—अर्थात् आसक्ति में बँधे बिना—दान करना चाहिए।
